Mercedes aka Mercy, owner and hostess of Oporto Recovery offered all that I needed and wanted while recovering from my plastic surgery. I needed help with managing all my medications, dressing changes, getting to and from the clinic/surgeon’s office and being in a warm friendly environment. Mercy is fluent in English which is important to me since my Spanish is limited to hola and gracias. She is thorough and takes care of every detail ensuring that her clients are comfortable and well taken care of.

I didn't feel confortable with some aging signs, and I traveled to Costa Rica to get plastic surgery. The Doctor's attention was fantastic, evething was a breeze and I could save a lot of money comparing to local surgery. My overall experience with Mercy was outstanding and I would not hesitate even for a second recommending Oporto Recovery for your recovery stay. The Confort and peace of mind that someone with her experience and knowledge will be with me through out the process makes me relaxed and feel safe. In fact, my husband is already booking his stay when he returns to San Jose for extensive dental work. I will be accompanying him just because I fell in love with Mercy and her Recovery as many people have done.

After given several options for a recovery setting by my cosmetic surgeon in San Jose, Costa Rica, I chose Oporto Recovery for its amenities, location and services. Since my recovery would be a minimum of 15 days I wanted to be in a setting where I felt most at home. I was not interested in spending my time in a clinic setting where there would be a rotation of nursing staff every 8 hours/7 days a week or being left a tray of food to eat alone with just a book and tv for company. Although I understood that complications can arise with any surgery emergency services were just a telephone call away. I know Oporto Recovery is located in an upscale neighborhood, a very convenient area with proximity to doctors mayor Hospitals and clinics, that to me was an attraction. At this point nobody wants to be expose more that what is needed.

I was living with a complicated heart condition that required surgery, fortunately, I arrived with Oporto Recovery, they took charge of everything, I got my surgery and recovery, and now I live without complications. My insurance covered the surgery without difficulties. Also, could take advantage of having a good time in my recovery, Casa Mercedes is the best place, the attentions are the best!
